Sealers sold in store are simply no good. They are designed to wash off after a few months so you go back and buy more. Store-bought sealers are designed for mass-sale, they assume “average” asphalt and weather conditions, they simply aren’t able to handle harsh Ontario weather. Oftentimes they wash off and leave cracking patches and streaks down a driveway that look terrible. We don’t recommend any sealer designed for sale on the mass-market.
